In the Highlife collection, Hot Spring’s premier range, you have more than 40 years of hot tub innovation and expertise. And as one of the largest Highlife models, the Sovereign manages to pack in more features and fun than most.
It begins with the design. This is a hot tub that commands the eye; that demands to be the headline act in any space, rather than something that is hidden away in a corner. The classic look of a hot tub is captured in the nature-inspired cabinetry, while the interior takes its cues from modern European minimalism. There are a wealth of small and subtle design features too, like a built-in light-up waterfall, the multicoloured underwater lighting system and the mood-setting lights on the outside corners.
The intimate escape
The Sovereign is an adaptable beast. This is a hot tub as comfortable being the heart of the party as it is offering a person or pair an intimate and relaxing escape.
With a luxurious lounge chair unfurling itself across one side of the spa, there’s certainly a best seat in this house. The recliner features the Moto-Massage® DX jet, a revolution in hydromassage technology that sweeps up and down your back to melt troubles away. Leg and foot jets are added to the mix, delivering top-to-toe hydrotherapy.
The party host
But the fact that the recliner offers such an immersive experience isn’t to say that others miss out. Four of the remaining five seats offer their own unique array of massage jets, including powerful yet soothing streams in the footwell, while a cool down bench is there for anyone wanting a less jet-fuelled experience.
While each guest enjoys a wealth of space, and can sink into the most sumptuous of six-person soaks, the rectangular shape of the Sovereign also means that this party can be held in more spaces, as the narrow footprint squeezes into otherwise unusable gaps.
