Large Hot Tubs

When you look at a hot tub, do you see an opportunity to socialise? Are you a member of a large household? Do you live by the motto ‘the more the merrier’? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, a large Hot Spring hot tub might be the ideal addition to your backyard.

Why Buy a Hot Spring Hot Tub

Melburnians appreciate quality. And in a Hot Spring hot tub, you get exactly that. We enjoy the backing of the world’s largest spa manufacturer, Watkins Wellness, who have delivered hot tubs to over two million happy customers – enough to place a spa in every single Melbourne dwelling. Our team of local professionals also brings unmatched knowledge and experience, and will help you to make the most of your investment. Your task is simple – choose the right machine. To do that, you should consider:

Size

How many people will your Hot Spring host? Social butterflies will need more seats than people who are looking for a more intimate escape.

Location

Consider where you might want to place your hot tub, then check how much space you have, ease of access, and the ability to power and drain your machine.

Objective

Your perfect hot tub will reflect what you hope to get from it, whether health and wellness, relaxation or quality time.

Quality

By investing in a quality hot tub for your Melbourne backyard, you’ll enjoy real returns in soaking experience, lower power bills, longevity and even property value.

Large hot tub dimensions

What counts as a large hot tub is a matter of opinion, but in the Hot Spring range we tend to place our 6-7 seat models in the large bracket. Where smaller hot tubs are built for solo or more intimate escapes, our large hot tubs are built for family time, socialising and fun.

Dimensions vary, but generally our large spas are at least two metres wide and long – any smaller and you begin to get into medium-size, five-person spas. Our biggest model, in terms of exterior dimensions, is the seven-person Prism, which measures 280cm x 231cm x 97cm.

To work out the ideal spa size for you, consider:

  • Whether you plan to host hot tub parties.
  • How many people will want to soak at any one time.
  • The amount of space available.
  • How much you’d like to spend.

Benefits of a large spa

There are a number of benefits that come with choosing a large spa:

  • Spend more quality time with your entire family in a device and distraction-free setting.
  • With more space comes more opportunity to socialise – you can invite your friends around for weekly hot tub parties!
  • When the spa isn’t full, you’ll have more room to stretch out, which is great for anyone undertaking hydrotherapy.

When to consider a large hot tub

You’re a social butterfly

If you have a large family, whether immediate or extended, or a large friendship circle, a 6+ seater hot tub is the perfect place to connect with the ones you love, as it is relaxing and free from phones and other distractions.

You rent out your holiday home

A large hot tub can be the X-factor that sees you secure a lot more bookings for your holiday home, and potentially charge more for each, making it an investment that can quickly pay itself back.

You’re looking for relief with hydrotherapy

As many Hot Spring owners have already found out, hot tubs can be an effective way to manage all manner of chronic conditions, from arthritis to back pain to fibromyalgia. A large model gives you more room to move, making hydrotherapy easier and potentially more effective.

Heart

Immersing yourself in the warm waters of your hot tub sends more blood, and therefore more oxygen and nutrients, around your body to where they’re needed.

Muscles

Between the warmth of the water and the action of the hydromassage jets, your hot tub loosens tight muscles and reduces inflammation.

Joints

With buoyancy taking weight off joints and promoting movement, Melburnians with chronic pain or limited mobility can enjoy serious relief in a hot tub.

The jets, the lights, the sounds, the water features; in a Hot Spring you can sit back, relax and forget your troubles.

The Hot Spring® Difference

With the potential for four seasons on any given day, the right conditions for water-based fun can prove elusive in Melbourne... unless you enjoy total control over your environment. In a Hot Spring hot tub that’s exactly what you get. You’ll enjoy precise temperature control that creates an oasis on those cool Melbourne evenings, luxurious hydromassage to wick away the stresses of living in Australia’s biggest city, and a device-free place for you to connect with your loved ones.

Here’s why Hot Spring® hot tubs are built different.
